State Sen. Darrel Aubertine is running his first television ad of the general election starting today, an ad that continues the theme that was so successful in his special election victory in February: He’s your North Country neighbor.

His statement:
“John McCain’s decision to suspend his campaign was made in the hopes that politics could be set aside to address our economic crisis.
“In response, Americans saw a familiar spectacle in Washington. At a moment of crisis that threatened the economic security of American families, Washington played the blame game rather than work together to [...]

The Reds just announced their attendance figures for the 2008 season and they were an improvement. 39 more people attended games this year, thrilling management. Unfortunately, this still places the Reds well below average. Luckily, I got a sneak peak at some of the marketing ploys the Reds are going to unveil next season.
.50 refunds: [...]

Please, Mr. Jocketty, I beg of you. NO COREY PATTERSON IN ANY WAY!!!
Dusty: I really like speed. (To be read: if Corey is around, I’m going to [...]
